Donationware definition The application is free to use, with all functions available (except optional features), but you are expected to pay your license if you find it useful or if you make any professional use. The donationware model allows selecting the price amount according your means or usage. The webshop is proposing 5 different amounts: The smallest price can be considered as a renewal license price, the default price as the recommended license price, the highest price as a generous support to our R&D team. Thanks for your participation! Donationware for activation code is following the same principles except that user is periodically invited to donate to get an activation code. This licensing model has been designed as an alternative to SAAS model. Simpler and cheaper for everyone, it is based on simple Challenge / Response code. The Challenge code is pending on your PC, the Response code is delivered by the web-shop after donation. More Info: How our Activation Code works? Donationware for download is for VB-CABLE A+B and VB-CABLE C+D (additional VB-CABLE). The Webshop will provide you with a personal download link after donation. One of the advantages of our donationware model is to let you test the application in real situation first! Volume Licensing / professional use If our donationware are used in a professional context (and in any company, institution or organization where users are not expected to pay/donate for the tools they use), a license must be paid. As professional, your are invited to register on our webshop and contact us with a valid VAT number if you are located in Europe (to let us set your account in B2B mode). If you need less than 100x licenses, we recommend to buy licenses directly on our WebShop. Keep the default price for the wanted product, and adjust quantity after in the cart. Otherwise you may contact us to get adapted quotation offer. For the VB-CABLE only, the Volume licensing can be managed directly on the wesbhop (discount is automatically applied according quantity). VB-CABLE Distribution with other product [1] We allow to distribute VB-CABLE package (available one www.vb-cable.com) with your Application (free or commercial) and possibly embed it in your installation package (VB-CABLE silent installation) if our donationware model is applicable.
